Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 8/10/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how United Lanes LLC, d/b/a YardStak ("YardStak," "we," "us," or "our"), a Nebraska limited liability company, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the YardStak software platform and related services (the "Service").
This Policy is intended for businesses that create accounts with YardStak ("Customer," "you") as well as the individuals whose information Customer submits to the Service, including Customer's crew members and Customer's own clients ("End-Customers").
This Service is offered in the United States only.
If you have questions about this Policy, contact us at support@yardstak.com.
1. Scope and Roles
YardStak is a business-to-business (B2B) software platform. Most personal information processed through the Service belongs to Customer's own clients (End-Customers) and crew members, and is submitted by Customer, not collected directly by YardStak from those individuals.
For purposes of applicable privacy law (including the California Consumer Privacy Act, "CCPA"), YardStak generally acts as a service provider processing End-Customer and crew personal information on Customer's behalf and at Customer's direction. Customer is responsible for providing appropriate privacy notices and obtaining any necessary consents from its own End-Customers and crew members regarding Customer's collection and submission of their information to the Service.
If you are an End-Customer or crew member of a business using YardStak and have questions about how your information is used, please contact that business directly. If you contact YardStak directly, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you and, where appropriate, will coordinate with the relevant business, which remains primarily responsible for responding to your request.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information About Customer (the Business)
- Business name, contact information, and tax details
- Payment routing and payout information (processed via Stripe Connect)
- Account credentials and authentication data (via Clerk)
- Usage data related to Customer's use of the Service
2.2 Information About End-Customers (Customer's Clients)
Submitted by Customer into the Service:
- Name, email address, phone number, and physical property address
- Property details, including GPS boundary coordinates, lot square footage, and access notes (e.g., gate codes, pet alerts)
- Signed contracts, liability waivers, property maps, and related documents
- Invoice, payment, and job/service history
- Communications sent to End-Customers through the Service (e.g., service alerts), where Customer has connected its own third-party messaging accounts as described in Section 2.5
2.3 Compliance and Operations Data
- Chemical/pesticide application logs, including applicator license numbers, dosage rates, and weather conditions at time of application, as submitted by Customer
- Scheduling, dispatch, and job checklist/task verification data
2.4 Crew Information
- Crew member account and authentication information for accessing the Service via mobile web browser
- Job checklist completions and field reporting data submitted by crew members
YardStak does not currently collect GPS or location data from crew members' devices.
2.5 Growth Add-On Data
If Customer enables the optional Growth Add-On:
- YardStak uses End-Customer contact information and business information to generate AI-powered website content, local SEO blog content, and quote-bot responses, as directed by Customer.
- SMS and email messaging features require Customer to connect its own third-party Twilio and/or MailerLite account(s). YardStak facilitates the technical integration but does not independently collect, store copies of, or send messages through these accounts beyond what is necessary to operate the integration.
- Lead data captured via the Instant Website Quote Bot on Customer's website.
2.6 Website and Analytics Data
When you visit yardstak.com, we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information about visitors, to understand aggregate website traffic and usage trends.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including scheduling, routing, invoicing, and payment processing
- Process payments and the $2.00 per-invoice technology fee via Stripe
- Generate AI-powered website content, blog content, and quote-bot responses at Customer's direction
- Detect and enforce compliance with our Terms of Service, including the Non-Circumvention Requirement
- Communicate with Customer regarding the Service, including account, billing, and support matters
- Maintain records required for compliance and operational purposes (e.g., chemical application logs)
- Improve and secure the Service
4. How We Share Information
We share information with the following categories of service providers ("sub-processors") to operate the Service:
| Sub-processor | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing, payout routing, and identity verification (KYC) |
| Clerk | User authentication and identity management |
| Resend | Transactional emails sent by YardStak (e.g., account notices) |

| Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic | Processing of AI-driven generative features (quote parsing, SEO blog generation, AI website building) |
| Plausible | Privacy-focused, cookie-free website analytics |
AI Processing Disclosure: Where Customer or End-Customer information is used to generate AI-powered content (such as website copy or blog articles), that information may be transmitted to Google, OpenAI, and/or Anthropic solely to generate the requested output. No Customer or End-Customer personal information is used to train these providers' underlying AI models.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
We may also disclose information: (a) to comply with law, legal process, or governmental request; (b) to enforce our Terms of Service; (c) to protect the rights, property, or safety of YardStak, our customers, or others; or (d) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
- Account Deletion: If Customer deletes its account, YardStak will permanently delete Customer's and its End-Customers' data within 30 days.
- Inactive Accounts: If an account has been inactive for two (2) months and does not have an active Growth Add-On subscription, YardStak will notify Customer that its account and associated data will be deleted in 15 days unless Customer takes action. If no action is taken, the account and its data will be deleted at the end of that period.
- Customer may request an export of certain business data prior to deletion, as described in our Terms of Service.
- We may retain limited information as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements, even after an account is closed.
6. Your Choices and Rights
6.1 California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, and to the extent YardStak acts as a "business" with respect to your personal information (rather than a service provider acting on behalf of one of our Customers), you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (YardStak does not sell or share personal information)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
To submit a request, email support@yardstak.com. If your information was submitted to YardStak by a business using our Service (i.e., you are an End-Customer or crew member of a Customer), we will direct your request to that business, as they are best positioned to fulfill it, and will assist as needed.
6.2 All Users
You may contact us at support@yardstak.com with any privacy-related questions or requests, and we will respond as appropriate given our role with respect to your information.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through the Service. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use only and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
